Part 1 - A half day hands on workshop designed to align your opportunities with your objectives.

This high level strategic workshop is not a "deep end push" into how to use Social Media Tools! Unlike the tactical training approach to starting to use Social Media Tools we look at the high road, top down approach. In fact we won't even mention Facebook, Twitter or Linked In in the workshop!

We actually developed a framework for uncovering opportunities using the "Blue Ocean Strategies" type of thinking. Social Media is pivotal to your organization's long term success in brand planing, sales, marketing and customer service.

This strategy workshop is designed for Senior Executives - it is not an IT or Social Media tactical workshop.

The breakdown of the first half day of the workshop is as follows:

Introduction of Models for Social Media Marketing Use

Using background information, objectives and data supplied by your company, we select the top level functional roles that would best fit an initial phase of applying using Social Media. (We are happy to comply with MNDA's to ensure confidentiality.)

Ways to Develop a Plan

Mapping your existing corporate functions to growth objectives is the next step. Before you turn the Social Media interns loose on your stakeholders, it's prudent to know what each group will be doing and why.

Ways to Achieve a Plan

Once a plan is defined and developed, we collaboratively select the most appropriate Social Apps by function first. We assist in defining how these Social Applications work. More detailed workflows and implementation concepts are detailed in Part 2.

Part One of the Strategy Workshop is designed to be interactive using visual aids, handouts and some Q+A forms. The take away is  a multi part document set which forms your blueprint for a Top Level Social Media Strategy.

Although the Big 4 Social Networking Platforms are constantly being referred to as the strategic necessities, we will focus on what you need to develop as a communications hub for managing all things social. This is the interface to the Social Networks like YouTube, Facebook, Linked In and Twitter.

 

Part 2 of the Strategy Workshop will provide the following segments:

A review of your existing Web Platforms and Strategies. Your Web site is no longer a static bunch of pages or a home grown collection of photos, graphics and downloadable .pdf files.

We will discuss and give examples of options available to create your communications hub, interface with external services, networks and analytical tools.

Selecting strategic platforms for Video, lead generation and integration to CRM systems such as SalesForce.com

Video Blogging Strategies

Cloud based Tools discover options to develop your own branded communities, Location Based Marketing programs and more.
